Terms of Service

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Pick a handle and display name that you have the right to use. Keep your credentials private. If you sign in with Google, the same Google account controls your access to Dexel.

You keep ownership of everything you upload — your pixel art, canvas items, profile information, and messages. By posting content to the public parts of Dexel (your pixel, your public canvas, the community room), you grant Dexel a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute that content for the sole purpose of operating the service. This licence ends when you remove the content, except for copies we keep in routine backups.

You agree not to use Dexel to:

• Post content you do not have the rights to share.
• Harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate any person or organisation.
• Upload content that is unlawful, violent, sexual without appropriate context, or designed to defraud.
• Send spam, bulk advertising, or repeated unsolicited messages to other designers.
• Probe, scrape, or attempt to circumvent the technical measures that protect the service or its users.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion and without prior notice when the violation is clear.

Dexel is offered on a best-effort basis. We work to keep it available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change or be removed as the product evolves. We will give reasonable notice for changes that materially affect existing accounts.

You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@dexel.in from the address tied to your account. We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these terms or if continued operation of your account creates legal or security risk for the service or its users.

Dexel is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of Dexel is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim — or, if you have not paid us anything, to one hundred Indian rupees.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought before the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. For material updates, we will post a notice in the app before they take effect.
